My Favorite Bohemian is My Featured Guest...

I can't tell you exactly when I "met" Miz Bohemia... but I can tell you ever since that day I have been hooked. Hooked on a genius of writing... Miz B shares her life with her fellow bloggers like no other. The way she writes makes me laugh, makes me think and sometimes makes me cry. She is a brilliant writer (I don't think she gives herself enough credit)... The fact of the matter is I-am-one-of-Miz-B's-number-one-blogger-fan's!

If you haven't read Miz Bohemia... What in the Heck are you waiting on!!! GET OVER TO HER PLACE!

Everyone please Welcome my favorite BoheMian... Miz Bohemia from Miz BoheMia's Rhapsody!

1) What song has truly inspired/touched you? (Name of Artist and Song please)

This is really hard! There are so many but the one that jumps to mind right away is "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor.
Just yesterday morning they let me know you were gone
Susanne the plans they made put an end to you
I walked out this morning and I wrote down this song
I just cant remember who to send it to

Ive seen fire and Ive seen rain
Ive seen sunny days that I thought would never end
Ive seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that Id see you again

Wont you look down upon me, jesus
Youve got to help me make a stand
Youve just got to see me through another day
My bodys aching and my time is at hand
And I wont make it any other way

Oh, Ive seen fire and Ive seen rain
Ive seen sunny days that I thought would never end
Ive seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that Id see you again

Been walking my mind to an easy time my back turned towards the sun
Lord knows when the cold wind blows itll turn your head around
Well, theres hours of time on the telephone line to talk about things
To come
Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground

Oh, Ive seen fire and Ive seen rain
Ive seen sunny days that I thought would never end
Ive seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that Id see you, baby, one more time again, now

Thought Id see you one more time again
Theres just a few things coming my way this time around, now
Thought Id see you, thought Id see you fire and rain, now
2) How did it inspire/touch/ or change you?

I first heard it in River Phoenix's movie "Running on Empty", which is just one of my favorite movies of all time. Without listening to the song in its entirety, it haunted me and touched me deep within... the sound, the melody and James Taylor's voice. I was very much lost back then and on many levels could relate to the lyrics but there is this nostalgic beauty about that song that touches me deep within to this day.

3) What is one thing you wish for the future generations?

Not original but it truly is what I said when you interviewed me... I think something that would benefit all would be for an inherent sense of compassion in all human beings. Since the birth of my children, Loverboy and I have made a conscious effort to teach them about compassion. It is a major tenet of our household and has been a great eye opener in how we badly we lack compassion on a global level. I think that compassion would set this world straight and ensure a safe future and heritage for our children…

4) What is one "Project"/ "Charity" that is dear to your heart?

There are so many but here I will stick with Amnesty International because of its international renown and fantastic track record in the fight for human rights. Also, through their website you can link to and participate in a variety of fights and issues...

Miz B...

"I've seen fire and I've seen rain
I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end
I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend"

I think a majority of us have felt like these lyrics before... I surely have!

An excellent song, excellent musician... an excellent choice. You never disappoint! Thank You!!

...and the music plays on!

If you think long and hard about it... music is a language that everyone speaks. Without divisions and barriers it brings us together as one. No matter what type of music you prefer... it is music. Wouldn't it be nice if we all could ride down the "Music Highway"... just to know that we, for one moment, could have a sense of togetherness?

WHY NOT have a "sense of togetherness"? It is so very true that music is a language EVERYONE speaks. This world has to much hate... So... Let us travel down a different highway... a highway of music... so we... for one moment can have a sense of peace... together. I started this project not knowing how well it would take off. Thanks to some wonderful bloggers... it has taken off beyond words. Click here for more info.
