Featured Guest - The Brawling Belle

It's that time again...

We are so excited about this weeks guest... Sar from Belle of the Brawl.

Belle of the Brawl is a fabulous "place" to go and hang-out. While there you are able to relax, throw off your shoes and stay as long as you wish. Her wit, her smarts and brilliance makes spectacular Sar, in our opinion, ONE of the many best bloggers. Belle of the Brawl is a must read blog for us here at "My Music Highway Project".

Everyone... Kick off your shoes and stay awhile and enjoy our Featured Guest...

1) What song has truly inspired/touched you? (Name of Artist and Song please)
What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong
2) How did it inspire/touch/ or change you?
This is a song that always makes me stop and reflect. We live in a bustling, opinionated society, and we tend to get wrapped up in all the daily minutia that comes with it. This song is a reminder that it's important to not only take the time to stop and smell the roses, but also appreciate their blooming before us.

I see trees of green........ red roses too
I see em bloom..... for me and for you
And I think to myself.... what a wonderful world.

3) What is one thing you wish for the future generations?
My wish for future generations is the achievement of unconditional tolerance and acceptance.

The colors of a rainbow.....so pretty ..in the sky
Are also on the faces.....of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands.....sayin.. how do you do
They're really sayin......i love you.

4) What is one "Project"/"Charity" that is dear to your heart?

There are so many charities, it's hard to choose. The primary charity I support is Doctors Without Borders.

What A Wonderful World
Louis Armstrong
(George Weiss / Bob Thiele)

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colors of a rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"

I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Oh yeah

Thank you, Sar for featuring this song. It is and has always been a beautiful and meaningful song. I have always loved this song and the way Louis Armstrong sang it... no one can sing it like him... he sang the song with his heart and you can hear that when listening to the song. Perfect Song... in more ways than one!

...and the music plays on!

If you think long and hard about it... music is a language that everyone speaks. Without divisions and barriers it brings us together as one. No matter what type of music you prefer... it is music. Wouldn't it be nice if we all could ride down the "Music Highway"... just to know that we, for one moment, could have a sense of togetherness?

WHY NOT have a "sense of togetherness"? It is so very true that music is a language EVERYONE speaks. This world has to much hate... So... Let us travel down a different highway... a highway of music... so we... for one moment can have a sense of peace... together. I started this project not knowing how well it would take off. Thanks to some wonderful bloggers... it has taken off beyond words. Click here for more info.
